With 35 years of history and credibility, the Cachoeiro Stone Fair concluded another edition, reinforcing its importance as one of Brazil’s largest events in the natural stone sector and one of the main business showcases in Latin America.
During the four-day event, 18,000 people passed through the Carlos Caiado Barbosa Exhibition Park, coming from all Brazilian states, the Federal District, and 25 other countries. Of this total, 30% were new participants.
The largest number of foreign visitors came from the United States, China, Italy, Argentina, Spain, India, Portugal, and South Korea. For Ed Martins, president of Sindirochas, the fair exceeded all expectations from the first day. “Business owners confirmed the activity at their companies and the deals made, and everyone is very happy with the outcome. The public was also impressed with the stands, the layouts, and the wider corridors that made movement easier. All of this contributed to the success of the fair. This 35th edition rewarded us with wonderful results!” he celebrated.
Toledo Mineração is also celebrating. The company’s presence at the Cachoeiro Stone Fair was 100% successful, with all their blocks sold. They exhibited four blocks from their quarries, including the well-known Ornamental White and White Pearl, as well as two new releases: Platinum and Cartier Crystal. “After 10 years, we are returning to the sector with the sale of blocks, and achieving this result here at the fair is exciting,” declared the company’s CEO, Josy Toledo.
The president of Centrorochas emphasized that the Cachoeiro Stone Fair is an opportunity for everyone to showcase their new products, equipment, and innovations. “We concluded this edition once again with great success. The fair fully achieved its objectives: it attracted an audience from both the domestic and international markets, provided a space to strengthen relationships, and presented the innovations and materials of companies from Espírito Santo,” he added.
From Goiás, marble worker Fernanda Martins takes advantage of the Cachoeiro Stone Fair to make good deals and visit companies. She returns home with a load of granite secured for her business. “Since I started attending the fair in 2022, I haven’t stopped. It’s the chance to see the new products first-hand. Negotiating over the phone is one thing, but face-to-face is much better,” she says.
Connections and Future Opportunities
The conclusion of Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2024 marks the beginning of a new phase: closing deals. Companies and professionals leave the fair with a range of new possibilities to explore, ensuring that the impacts of the 2024 edition extend well beyond the four days of the event. The expectation is that the connections established during the event will result in long-lasting partnerships and new business over the coming months.
“The fair is just the beginning,” commented Marbrasa’s sales executive, Daniela Bazoni. “Now, we’ll start turning what was discussed and agreed upon here into concrete projects and fruitful collaborations that drive the sector forward.”
With the Italian company Pedrini as a partner, Rexford attended the fair to reaffirm its market position and establish new contacts. They brought machines that, although already part of their portfolio, were enhanced to increase productivity, reduce costs, and maximize profitability. “We achieved our goal of strengthening our market position as a company that offers cutting-edge technology for high performance. As a result, we left the fair with even stronger connections that will help us in future business,” highlighted director Marcio Migliavacca.
In an atmosphere of optimism, Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez Milaneze, the event’s organizing company, shared her impressions of the 35th edition, emphasizing the innovation, diversity, and grandeur that captivated participants. “Cachoeiro Stone Fair is already part of the international fair calendar, and for 35 years, it has been responsible for showcasing the latest in natural stones, machines, and supplies, increasingly attracting the presence of national and international buyers, as well as marble workers from all over the country, who eagerly await the traditional Marble Workers Meeting, with training and exchange of experiences. The atmosphere at this edition was one of great optimism; the fair managed to surprise with boldness and diversity in stone applications, with new finishes and colors, with its grandeur and truly enchanted the participants, who are already looking forward to the next edition, which always tends to be bigger and more surprising,” she commented.
